Yesterday I went to the landfill instead of studying for my final thats today. I did a little bit of homework in the morning and then went to pick Doug up at noon. He ate a bagel with hot sauce on it. We went to Stardust to get me some tea. We made a scavenger hunt list for the trash heap. The list was pretty hilarious. We set out on Curry Ford Rd. We came to the end and never saw the dump, so we had to stop and ask for directions. I thought the ABC liquor store was the best place to ask for directions. People working there are walking wisdom. An old man behind the counter gave us directions and told us to follow our noses.
The landfill is 5,000 acres. Thats huge. We drove around it for awhile and took pictures. A lady in a big truck followed us to tell us to leave, because "10 guys called in on the radio and everyone knows where we are" Youd be surprised how high security a trash dump can be. Theres a mountain of trash called Mount Trashmore that now has beautiful green grass growing on it and you can see all of Orlando from it. I will get to the top of that mountain.

We also counted 273 American flags on a 4 mile stretch of Colonial Rd.

My mom summed it up when she said "what kind of trashy friends do you have that want to go to the dump with you?" No pun intended.

Now, Im blogging instead of studying for my final today.
